What do I need to bring to swimming lessons?
Bondibubs:
Swimmer nappy
Swim wear for carer and bub. In winter we suggest rashies for your little one
2x towels
Learn to Swim:
Cap and Goggles
Swimmers and towel
What is the pool temperature?
Approx. 30 degrees, warmer in winter.
What is the ratio of students to teachers?
Bondibubs: 7 students:1 teacher
LTS: Levels 1-3 3:1 & Level 4 4:1
Squads: 6 per lane
At what age can my child be taught in lessons without a parent in the pool?
Our LTS program starts from 3yrs of age
What facilities do you have?
Speedo Swim Centre offers an indoor heated 25m swimming pool with ensuite bathrooms. We have two on deck showers for ‘rinse and run’, 3 change tables, and bench seating surrounding the pool which doubles as a changing area for bubs in the mornings.
What is the check-in process?
All swimmers are to be checked in at reception prior to lessons.
Does swim school run on Public Holidays and do we pay?
No, lessons don’t run on public holidays and you aren’t charged.
What payment system do you use?
Fees are paid via direct debit on the first of the month, in advance. Bookings automatically roll on month to month.
What qualifications do your staff have?
All swim staff have Swim teacher qualifications either with Swim Australia or Austswim, Working with Children’s Checks, and a current CPR at a minimum.
How will I know when my child is ready to move up?
A student is ready to move to a higher level, when the Supervisor has marked off the skill check list for their existing level. They will then inform the parent/guardian. You will need to see reception or visit the Parent Portal for availability of the next level. We endeavour where possible to find you the same day/time.
